How it works

How FireFocus blocks off-topic tabs during a focus session

Name a topic, start a timed Chrome session, and browse. FireFocus checks page content against that topic. On-topic pages stay. Off-topic pages hit a wall.

Start a session with a named topic and a timer

Open the FireFocus popup in Chrome. Type the topic - a course, a ticket, or a draft. Set a timer and start. That name is what each page is checked against.

Browse normally

Related docs, search, and the lecture stay open when they match the topic. You keep using Chrome as usual.

Off-topic pages hit a wall

Feeds, Shorts, Reels, listings, and other rabbit holes that do not match the topic get a full-page wall. The session stays on.

Optional Social Media Manager

You can turn on switches for short-form video and feeds. Those blocks can stay on even when a focus session is not running. Blocked pages get the wall. After you turn a block on, you cannot turn it off for 24 hours.
